Meet Randy & Lauren
After a night heavy with rain, the sky cleared up to a slightly misty morning. The castle-like grounds of The River Mill in French Camp, California transported us to another time, somewhere in Middle-Earth. It was perfect for an intimate gathering with just a hint of adventure...Meanwhile, from a stairwell, the Bride and her maidens enrobed themselves in velvet cloaks and swiftly made their passage to an old tavern by the light of the mystical lanterns they were carrying (each brimming with beautiful greenery and flowers). At the tavern, each maiden was met by warrior (from a galaxy far, far away), who led them into a great hall with a magnificent fireplace. They each took their places in the great hall alongside the King who was awaiting his true love...
And then she entered...It was epic!

Lord of the Rings theme–we both love he films and wanted to have a personal touch to our wedding.

Hangout with mutual friends
Who proposed and how?
Randy proposed by taking me to Yosemite for a hiking trip. I recently injured my knee so I had to train to be able to make the hike. A few weeks beforehand, Randy and a friend secretly drove out there to find the perfect spot to propose that was a reasonable distance for me o walk or for him to possibly carry me if I needed it (I was able to make it on my own). During the hike we stopped to eat at "the spot" next to one of the rivers, where two friends were hiding to take pictures of us. Randy popped the question right there and we immediately took some engagement photos.
