Andrew & Melody | Muir Woods Wedding

I knew even before our first date. There wasn’t a specific moment. We spent months talking on the phone every single night before we ever had dinner together.

Meet Andrew & Melody

This exciting elopement was breathtakingly beautiful, and not just because of the enchanting woods... It was the anticipation of the climactic moment when everything they had been waiting for came to pass. At one point, the excitement was so intense that when they were asked if there was anything they would like to say to one another, they could hardly catch their breaths to nervously say "I love you"--"I love you!" Although they enjoyed all of the kind congratulations and friendly hikers adoring their offbeat nuptials, Andy and Mel were intently focussed on each other and ready to continue their adventure alone...(I hope they don't mind that from this day on, the experience we had with them will forever remind me of the lyrics: "I think we're alone now, there doesn't seem to be anyone around...I think we're alone now, the beating of our hearts is the only sound...")

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Martinez!

Andrew proposed. After his original plan to propose in front of her friends and family while we were visiting Dallas(original itinerary got altered), and back up plan to propose on the flight back(she passed out for the entire flight) fell through, he ended up proposing in the airport parking lot. Not the most romantic, but very fitting.

Most important thing on your wedding day?

I don't want any played out cheesy poses like jumping out behind a tree or making the heart symbol with our hands. Haha just simple and timeless.

I really like the vintage feel you bring to your photography. I'd really like to stay in that style throughout.
