San Francisco | Giant Killaz Apparel, Lyrical Opposition & lfqphoto Collaboration.

Last week, we just finished a fashion shoot for lifestyle brand "Giant Killaz Apparel" from the rooftop of  Lyrical Opposition headquarters, the Urban Center, in SF!

Giant Killaz Apparel was co-founded by multi-talented Christian-preneurs, Arize Lisea, of Rize N Shine Media and screenprinter / graphic designer Dan Linville.

The creation of the brand Giant Killaz Apparel coincides with the start of Rize N Shine Media, a multimedia company based in Stockton, California that specializes in Christian rap music videos, music production and event videography. Rize N Shine Media was founded in 2014 after a music video Arize created for Sevin (featuring Illuminate), “Bout Whuteva,” went viral. As his company grew and he continued producing music for himself and other artists, Arize teamed up with Dan Linville to create RNS merchandise to support his ministry. As the two developed the apparel, they keyed in on a theme that they became passionate about and that is what you are seeing today! Perfect timing would have it that themes of their message would find a way into the recently released, Zee Sav album titled “Death of the Giants,” which was co-produced by RNS as well. It is clear that Giant Killaz Apparel is becoming more than just a positive clothing line, it's a lifestyle.

How did you come up with your brand "Giant Killaz?":

"The brand was created on the concept of empowering the powerless by revealing their true identity in Christ. One of our themes is 'what's your giant?' Meaning, what kind of obstacles do you have in your life? Being a 'Giant Killa' is facing issues like sickness, divorce or anything else in life, and taking authority over the situation."

-Arize

“Anything from beating diabetes, beating cancer, beating depression, P.R.-ing on your weight that day, running your fastest mile time...That's a 'Giant Killa.' Overcoming obstacles in your life, and at the same time it gives you an identity of who you are. It's contagious. When you have a positive, outgoing, outlook on life, it's going to be contagious to other people around you. We want a company that is going to speak ‘life' and give people hope at the same time.”

-Dan

Why the Urban Center?:

It was a perfect location for this collab project. The organization Lyrical Opposition, that hosts events there, lists their vision "to be a lyrical brand movement that inspires and activates positive voices and evolves the concept of ‘artist,’" which is definitely relevant. Plus, it’s a rooftop in San Francisco! It had lots of different urban textures and the sky was awesome.

Any special thanks?:

Thank you to Christian Bustos & Lyrical Opposition for opening the center and hanging out with us for the day.
