Meet Adam & Sydney...
What were your wedding colors?
Mint, blush and champagne.
What was your wedding theme and why?
Our wedding was rustic vintage with a side of Disney because I (Sydney) have been obsessed with Disney forever, and Adam proposed to me with a song from Tangled, which was also our first dance. The vintage vibe came from my teacup collection which served as our centerpieces!
What was your favorite wedding detail?
Probably my whole look. I loved the vintage vibe from my hollywood hair and art deco lace dress. That with the guys suspenders just really pulled everything together nicely.
“Her” favorite memory from the wedding?
It's hard to pick just one. My favorite ceremony memory was seeing Adam cry as I walked down the aisle. It made me feel beautiful and loved and so excited to do the thing! My favorite reception memory was probably when my bridesmaid Jessica and I cleared the dance floor with our unplanned choreography to I2I from A Goofy Movie!
What was the most important thing at your wedding?
Our friends and family. My (Sydney) family is split on the East coast and West coast and have been referring to ourselves as Coast West and Coast East for my entire life. When they met Adam's family from the Midwest they didn't know what to call them until someone suggested Coast-less! We loved how easily everyone got along, because it was just really important to us that all the people we love and all the people who have supported us throughout our journey were there with us to celebrate!
#1 piece of advice for couples planning a wedding?
Don't wait til the last minute! Get as many things done in advance as you can because TONS of tiny details pop up last minute and you don't want to be overwhelmed. Leave yourself time to enjoy the week leading up to it and don't believe all the hype about not being able to eat or dance at your wedding. If you want to do it, just do it! It's your day, you call the shots!
